The death of bigotry (#1776)

A fella can dream can't he? Surely bigotry, hate and fear of others, has no place in a civilized society. yet that it does still exist contradicts that our society is civilized. More like our society is on the path of becoming civilized but we are not there yet. As we continue to cycle through the life and death process time demands of us, we inch ourselves ever closer to the point where bigotry will not be a priority for many but instead will be a reminder of who we were before we became better human beings. Our human history is full of how we are still a bigoted society but as we advance with enlightened thinking and scientific facts, we are shedding the skin of intolerant behavior for the panoramic perspective that we are all commonly linked. Our hearts and minds are of the same congruent compounds and complexities which allows for us to know that although we may have different looks about us we are essentially the same set of molecules and reasoning possibilities. We are data gatherers and data processors. It is what humans are. We take what we learn and explore those possibilities. For us to continue to hold bigoted principles is antithetical to logic and common respect of our genetics. Time will eventually filter out the nonsense that allows for bigotry to sustain itself in our society and when that happens we will have evolved to a place where compassion for all and self-interest are melded as one. A society of humans who put society first and foremost in our interactions and aspirations. It is coming folks but likely not soon enough to change our existence any time real soon. I have the hope though that it can happen quickly but not without exposing bigotry for the anti-human trait that it is.
