NO WALL NO WAY (#3641)

NO WALL NO WAY, that is my sign for today's Women's March which is about more than Women's rights it is about all of us living in a better society. My sign may not be aligned with what some may think it should be, strictly women's issues but I say this wall of trumps is harm to not only women but to all human beings. So in my little meager way I will protest the wall while walking for women to have equal rights with us men. Let there be no doubt as to my outrage that we men are in a better position constitutionally than our women. I am hopeful that Virginia will pass the ERA soon and then become the 38th state needed to ratify the 28th Amendment to our constitution.
There will have to be some legal and political maneuvering in order to get this new ERA Amendment enshrined as the 28th Amendment to our constitution but the will is there for this to happen and if we do get Virginia as the 38th state then I see this happening. Because the idea that our women are not equal partners in our society is not only disgraceful but it is in violation of our democracy. Forming the more perfect union is always worth fighting for and nothing should ever stop us from doing so. From equal pay for equal work, to women having the final say as to the outcome of their own bodies. The rights of women need to become established in our constitution so that there can never be a time when their constitutionally protected rights become a playing chip in some kind of political game.
So today we hit the streets to make known the insurmountable force that our women have birthed into our politics in order to demand their rightful place within it. It has been my contention for some time now that our liberal/progressive women should be the leaders of our political paradigm because there is no other beings on Earth who care for all the children ever born. Whether they be starting out or close to ending their time on this planet. We are all the children of our women and they make us better from their parenting. We men tend to take ourselves too seriously and as such we forget that it is the women who raised us and taught us values beyond our own selfishness and uncaring. Our women are a value beyond what we men acknowledge and that time needs to stop today!
