(#6023) The constant struggle is tiring but not defeating!

I am getting to a certain age where I expect my mind and body to be slowing down and resting. Yet there is more I think going on than just that. This whole trump and his disgusting allies trying hard to destroy our peace and tranquility is as well a factor. Our society seems to be the same. We are all getting tired of his bullshit backwards approach to most everything in life. It is wearing us down his relentless assault on our evolvement toward a better existence. He and his allies are the epitome of the worst of what could happen if they came into power. Well they are in power and their harmful foolishness is now ours.
I know that since November 6th I have been a deflated man as to our future. Instead of being inflated! Now I am just a functioning person without as much hope as I would have for our species had trump not been elected. I know this and it does concern me but it doesn't stop me. I am struggling yet still moving forward with what I have in order to obstruct and counter whatever trump is non stop throwing at us. But in my bones the tiredness is there. I feel like I have been fighting against the ignorance and hatred that wants to harm us instead of help us most all of my life and it does take it out of me like so many of my similar colleagues.
Drain us as he may, trump and his allies will not defeat me or us. Because even when we are tired we are still on the side of correct and good. Just having that is a power trumps cannot understand nor defend against. One of the main features of being correct and good is our endurance. Along with that resolve we have the mindset to stand up when the standing up time comes. It may physically hurt and ache to be a fighter for justice but it is a hurt and ache we embrace when the outcome decides our fate. I don't know what the absolute purpose is for human life in this existence is but I do know I get to put a definition to my purpose. It will be one where the best of what I can be as a human being is worthy and honorable to who I am.
