(#6202) Something has to give!

The pressure has been building since his inauguration and has not let up one bit. A steady expansion of our outrage and disgust is being measured. How long before the lining holding it all in gives into physics and burst into chaos? We who are being pressured know this one thing about trump. He will not back down from his intent. So it will be up to we the people to either explode into pieces or relieve the pressure in some way that is sufficient. I think of trump as a man on a suicide mission with no account to his inevitability. He will take us all with him if that is what it takes. When he is referred to as Nero fiddling as Rome burns it is not enough. He is also hoping to take the world with him.
In the series Agents of Shield, the character Ruby is collared with the title of destroyer of worlds. This is how I think of trump because he is purposefully aiming to do just that unless he is salved by our obedience to him. He is a megalomaniac with no real guardrails at the moment. Those who could help to depose him are too cowardly to confront him because their fear is vastly greater than any courage they may think they have. Yet they are the obvious key to ending this nightmarish hellscape trump is thrusting upon us.
Of course there are extrajudicial ways of dealing with him but that would require an intent to disregard our constitution and act out of barbarism. A "good of the many is greater than the good of the one" type scenario. The better path is the one where the republicans in the House and Senate find their nerve and activate it into an impeachment. Disbanding the whole of the trump administration so that law and order remains the foundation of our democracy. This crucial moment now is so demanding that an overwhelming call from the ground up is critical. What is going to happen next if we don't? Something even more heinous and avoidable? The republican party owns this mess and they should be the ones leading the charge to clean it up now!
