(#6208) Less than 16 hours left of our 2 day protest!

      Yesterday was full of school walk outs and work stoppages around the country. I was particularly proud of our west coast student walkouts that were coming up in my news feed. I have no doubt that the rest of the country had their moments of pride as well. I saw a lot of bot activity denouncing the student walkouts as just cutting class but what these robotic automatons don't get is that exercising the rights guaranteed in our constitution is a lesson of tremendous value. The students were practicing the two dimensional aspect of their learning and it is always healthy to put action to principle in a three dimensional way. What that told me was that our youngest preadult generation is well and good with protecting our democracy!
     Of course Minneapolis was the epicenter of overwhelming work stoppage, school protesting, and large gatherings in the streets. The last time Minnesota was in the crosshairs of trump in his first term as president, George Floyd was murdered and the trump allowed racism was heavily confronted. Why trump has singled out Minnesota again someone will have to explain to me but with trump I don't hold to coincidences. The pettiness and vindictiveness of trump is surely a huge factor. Whatever the reason though he picked on Minnesota and Minnesota once again is pushing back hard on him. Apparently he didn't like the outcome last time and is trying to beat Minnesota into some type of submission.
     I don't know how today will play out but I do know that we the people are done playing trump's game. Our intent today is to show up and speak the truth in voices full of volume. We are on the correct side of history and our democracy. Anywhere and everywhere protests will occur, large and small will all carry similar messages: Stop harming our people and those we love and care for. Stop taking our rights away without our permission. Just stop protecting lawbreakers because they give money while bending their knee to trump! The current trump cabal is leading America into an abyss of recklessness and suffering and we are done with going along with it! As we protest we will stand firm on shaky ground. We will repel the smothering by barricading ourselves against ourselves. We will not fade nor shrink. We the people are done with liars and fools who would be kings!
