(#6204) We will out resolve him!

      I had my doubts last time he was president whether the many of us who didn't support him would survive his presidency. I was actually seriously considering whether to leave America and go live in Canada. But after a little bit of time I decided that staying to regain our democracy was more important than my own disgust at what fools we Americans proved to be. Anyway, I am a patriot to democracy and that is very strong within me. The second time he was given power as a president naturally I was gut punched over it but nonetheless still ready to fight against his looming overthrow of our democracy.
     This past year of his shitshow has only convinced me that he is not as formidable as he would like to present. His attack on Minnesota has proven to be weak in comparison to the response Minnesotans forged. In many ways Minnesota has reminded me of Ukraine and how they said fuck you to putin with courage and resolve. Same with Minnesotans. They braved the ominous thugs of ice and did not let them run rampant among their communities. Even though two Minnesotans were murdered on video, Minnesotans defied the aggressors with even more resolve to protest. We see now how the energy of Minnesota has made trump backtrack and even remove his lead nazi like disrupter.
     We also see that trump is beginning to play nice with Minnesota officials because he is being told he is losing his base over his aggressive forceful moves. The cracks have been there within the maga base but now they are widening so trump is trying to go into damage control. Will it be enough I don't know but the result is that protesters accomplished what protesters usually do. A change! It is my hope that we the people keep protesting and speaking out against the anti democratic acts trump and his bootlickers never stop fomenting. I am still a firm believer that a full national day of work stoppage is how we get the message to trump that we the people are the power here in America, not his septic desire to rule over us!
