(#5990) The end of trump is the beginning of civility and respect returned to our society

      You may hate the idea behind the democratic party of helping all in our society pursue their own happiness without harming but you are on the wrong side of human nature. Because there will come a day when trump is no more and his sexism and racism are no longer points for others to rally around. That day is coming with the age and bad health of trump getting worse as each day proceeds. If trump survives to the end of his term he will have become a real liability to republicans up and down the ticket. The chances of an overwhelming loss by republicans increases by the day. When that day of no more trump arrives is when the sanity of politics will return to those who are aware of the insanity now.
     Democrats and republicans will be clear of the power that trump currently holds over too many. That trump truly is the end all for trumpism is clear to me and despite his followers zeal they will scatter to the wind when there is no more trump to protect them. I have seen memes showing that when trump does die his funeral will be enormous but not for his life achievements, but instead for the turning over a new day when trump isn't in our lives making it miserable. I actually concur with the meme I saw in that the sense of relief that such a conman of enormous stupidity could have commandeered our society will spontaneously generate a massive sigh of relief and dancing in the streets moments.
     Afterward, when trump is not a factor in our society, we will start to move back to governance that focuses on democratic principles and reestablishes now broken alliances. An era where the putins of the world are back to being confronted for their crimes. An era where democracy and the freedom and liberties it brings will return to the forefront of American and foreign politics. We will not forget that many republicans colluded with trump to destroy our democracy here at home and there will be a reckoning on their heads. Beyond that though the rebuilding of bridges in our politics will be healthy and the protection of law and order will make for a quieter and more improved environment for our soon to be new future.
