(#6333) When we support Ukraine we support democracy!

      If you are unclear about what democracy is let me give you a quick reminder. Democracy is about the power of government in the hands of we the people. In our democracy we elect from we the people representatives to administer our vision. We are not told how to live we direct our representatives to pass laws making our lives better. That is the difference in say Russia where the tyrant putin directs his people's lives to fit his vision of what they should be. So when our president here sides with putin then know that he is not siding with democracy!
     It is not a secret that Ukraine is fighting for democracy! That is their number one objective! So when Russia invades them because Russia doesn't want Ukraine to be democratic the obvious choice of all democracies is to align with Ukraine and stop Russia from interfering in their national matters. Yet some democracies like ours here in the States have decided to play both sides. Our current American administration is linked to Russia through what I will describe as questionable personal relationships. The fact that the leader of our democracy puts his own considerations ahead of our nations is not only unethical and dishonorable to his oath but alarming in political, social, and economical gravity!
     What trump is showing is that he didn't want to win our presidency out of some greater honorable good. He instead wanted to win our presidency so that he could accomplish his own desires. We the people are not his guide as we should be, instead we are his tools for his purpose. Which is the exact opposite of what his position has traditionally demanded. I have felt all along that trump only desired the presidency out of some disjointed idea of his own worth. His intent is not to improve the health of our democracy. His intent is to lessen our democracy. As he takes away our policies of helping we the people, we become more like his buddy putin in Russia. That is the point I think!
