(#6345) The mighty force that is the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy!

      Yesterday at the G-7 summit President Zelenskyy showed the world that although trump is allied with putin in too many ulterior ways he could get trump to continue support for Ukraine against Russia. What an odd relationship it must be to associate with trump. I suppose if you consider that deep inside trump holds loyalty only to himself it becomes clearer why he does what he does, At the beginning of his second term trump was certain Russia would clean Ukraine's clock so he sided with putin. Now he sees that putin is on the defensive in Ukraine and Russia so now trump is siding with Zelenskyy. Whatever favors trump more will get his assent.
     What is amazing to me is that Zelenskyy must have figured this out and although he was being dissed by trump he still held his own personal character of determination with respect. Now that the tide has turned out against putin Zelenskyy is masterfully shaping trump's ego to suit Ukraine's benefit. I know myself that the patience measured for the long game is truly a gift of which I am little accomplished. However little I have had success. So when I see the long game come to fruition it doesn't necessarily escape me. Zelenskyy has played the long game with trump and it has come about. Good for Ukraine, good for democracy, and good for us who hold both as high priorities!
     As to how Zelenskyy came to an advantage with trump is stuff of fables. That trump was last year demanding that Ukraine give up it's territory for peace to this year trump giving Ukraine defense procurements and longer range offensive missiles is the story. The moral of that story is don't bet against a wounded animal cornered by an arrogant predator! The fight left in the wounded one will give no mercy to the disrespectful attacker. What trump hadn't seen before is putin being hunted and humiliated and has given him reason now to disassociate from him. The incredible genius of Ukraine and their survival instincts will be written about in the annals of human history like the fables of yore!
