(#6344) The writing is on the wall for Russia to remove itself from Ukraaine!

      The Russian president vladimir putin thought that taking Ukraine would be short and sweet. What he has found out more than 4 years later is that it is long and bitter with little hope of succeeding. Yet vlad persists. He initially thought that the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy would turn tail and run out of Ukraine with a plane full of treasure. Well that didn't happen and instead Zelenskyy stayed and vowed to fight the Russian invasion with all his being. He wasn't alone as a vast majority of the Ukrainian citizenry stood beside him in their defiance of putin.
     What the Russian dictator putin also thought was that no one would be able to come to the defense of Ukraine because of their fear of the mythical Russian military might. Well that was also proven wrong as President Joe Biden allied with Ukraine to help support their defense of Ukrainian sovereignty. Another miscalculation by putin was the NATO and the EU would also fold and not protect Ukraine. Both are helping to protect Ukraine to this very day and beyond. There was a setback when trump was given the US presidency but even that setback is not enough to give putin the edge he needs to overcome Ukrainian will.
     All told together, putin made several assumptions about his murderous invasion of Ukraine that were proven wrong. So now he is stuck in a quagmire where he not only is losing captured ground every day in Ukraine but his country Russia is being decimated by innovative Ukrainian offensive weaponry. Russia's invasion of Ukraine was in putin's mind a triumph over a people he wanted to crush. What it is turning out to be is a crushing of putin's power over his people as they are now brought to the invasion in their their previously safe Russian cities. The ego of putin will not let him surrender his ambition of victory. So as he continues to lose every day in Ukraine, Russia gets closer to being the one who loses when this is all finally over!
