(#6472) 13 days until election results...early voting picking up!

       More than 18 and a half million early votes are in. The pace of returns being reported are coming now fast and furious. The last big state not reporting yet is New York. Once all state who vote early start reporting the totals will be like a flood. We have about 10 days left of early voting and even though this is a midterm election there is nothing traditional about it's significance. With trump dumbing down his administration and his donors of less than a worthy intelligence, I foresee no October surprise that can turn the democratic momentum on it's head. If anything we democrats are still building greater momentum. The pundits are still somewhat acting cautiously but their fear isn't our determination.
     What is even more important is the part of the electorate that didn't vote in 2024 is making sure they get out this election as far as we can see. Others and I also assume that 75% of independent voters will find their way back to voting for democrats. It isn't an assumption that is based strictly on hope. I hope for an even higher percentage but for now 75% is probable. I don't have to detail the reasons for it as we all are living in this horrendous time of trump strong arming America to get us to accept his undemocratic decrees. Suffice it to say we the many of us are not the bend our knee to a tyrant type. Instead trump is finding out that threats, coercion, intimidation, real harm, and duress are more likely to anger us instead of make us cower.
     What is showing now is that trump brought little to frighten us when he thought he could bluff. We called his bluff and now he is in a downward spiral. He is gasping out embellishments and lies but to no avail. With that part of the electorate that sat out 2024 now engaging the ultimate retribution to his harmful policies and behavior is coming full circle. This midterm election will be so very clear as to how we Americans feel about his betrayals and condescension. This midterm will be about trump and his dare for us to treat this election like he is on the ballot. Because we will and he is not going to like the result of it one bit!
