Racism is an intellectual and moral failing (#3272)

First let me state the fact of race. We are all part of the human race, period. As human beings we are different in our appearances and our thoughts. What we are not different in are the facts. We may not like the facts and avoid them at all costs but that doesn't change the truth of the facts or their validity. So that leads us directly into the lack of intelligence I first referenced. When we are not able or not inclined to accept the facts of any one thing we are letting the world know we are not intelligent. Now I don't know about you but making sure everyone can see our lack of intelligence is in itself a res ipsa loquitur proof of a lack of intelligence. Yet many in our societies find that holding onto an ignorant concept is more appealing than letting the ignorant concept go in lieu of acknowledging a fact.
As to a moral failing let me be perfectly clear. Racism is hatred of one type of human over another. Yes, hatred. Let me explain. Whether it is just some fear or inconvenience that makes us shy away from some races and gravitate toward others is still at its core an immoral hatred. As a human being who was born into this existence with no choices made by myself it is less than human to blame others for not being like me as the same could be said for others blaming me for not being like them. Either way none of us has a right of privilege or advantage over the other simply based upon factors that have nothing to do with us being human beings. Our different aspects and uniquenesses are to be celebrated as examples of how complex our species has become, not denigrated.
When we find that we are tending toward racial uncomfortableness it is something wrong within our own perception that allows the fear within us to grow. We are the problem when we allow hatred to manifest itself. Our inculcations and adapted negative stereotypes are at fault so we must rise above them and accept the fact that we are all human beings born on this planet without any agenda of our existence. We humans are here and no matter what we look or behave like we are still the same in that regard. So anyone who would stir the pot of racial difference as a demeaning trait is obviously trying to gain some unfair advantage or put someone or some group at a disparaging disadvantage. Either way racism used as a cudgel to vilify is both unintelligible and particularly atrocious morally.
