trump stealing education from our children (#3283)

The pursuit of happiness is not something that can be done in a void. We have to be educated as to what life is about and what life could be so that when we decide what we want we have all the options before us. How can we do that when our children and not given the facts and truths of reality? We cannot do that without being educated as to what is real and what isn't. Then we need to know what is possible and now currently impossible. Our imaginations and creative minds then are able to see our futures with some glimmer of hope. Without a real education to start out in life with we are not going to master the space we live in. It is as simple as that. For those like trump, they don't care what happens to those of us who are not wealthy or powerful.
Which is a mistake since most of us are not wealthy or powerful. We are the modern day lower middle poor class who once were part of the upper, middle, lower and poor class. We have become in essence the cannon fodder needed by the wealthy to keep their wolves at bay, even we ourselves are mixed in with the wolves. The trumps and their republican sycophants have no use for we less than wealthy because we are not selfish and brutal like them. They are more akin to psychopaths than normal people which is why they disdain all that is unwashed and unclean. Republicans and trump make for the unwashed and unclean to exist by taking away anything that might give we non wealthy a chance to succeed and then they condescend to us as if they are our betters.
All of that will come to a screeching halt come November 6th 2018 when the mighty wave of lower middle poor class voters go to the voting booth and kick the majority of republican politicians out of office. Then we democrats; liberals, independents, moderates and progressives, will begin to reverse the onslaught of the wealthy against the rest of us. That trump will be relegated to nothing more than a child screaming for his binky. After that the next presidential election will finish the job of removing the worst of republicans from office and our nation will be rightly set back on course to promote equality of opportunity, fairness and justice for not only all our citizenry but mostly for our children who will once again be part of our society's main focus to teach and learn about what is real and what is possible.
