Voter suppression is the republican strategy (#3267)

Well we knew they wouldn't just take the coming blue wave sitting on their hands and now we know their strategy. They got a federal judge to make it easier for them to suppress voting, https://thinkprogress.org/consent-decree-rnc-221b4caa8c77/. But we democrats have a way to avoid this attempt by republicans to once again steal our election and that is to make sure our voting registrations are current. We cannot sit back now and let others decide for us whether or not we can exercise our franchise to vote. The republican party is deviously clever in finding ways to eliminate democratic voters off the voting rolls. Remember, republicans control a majority of the state houses in America and thus can finagle how voters are pushed of the voting rolls.
First we democrats must recognize the strategy of voter suppression by republicans and make it clear to everyone that this is not just some policy aimed at securing our elections. This is an attempt to deny American citizens who vote democrat from having their right to vote. It is plain and simple theft to sway a positive outcome for republicans. The republican party knows they are up against a growing wave of democratic voters who are frustrated with being ignored by republican politicians. They want to if not stop the coming wave at least slow it down and preserve some seats in office that they might ordinarily lose if not for voter suppression.
We cannot allow any voter suppression tactics to be successful because this democratic wave needs to wipe out every republican possible without exception. We need a brand new Congress with a heavy democratic majority so as to counteract anything trump may decide to do against the will of the American working middle poor class. Voter suppression is coming and we know it now. There is no reason for us not to make sure it does not affect us. But we must make sure and check our registrations to make sure they are not subject to denial of voting rights. The republican party has very few realistic options to obstruct the course of the coming blue wave so let's make sure that the few attempts they do have to influence our vote are not successful.
