(#4585) Getting the infrastructure bills passed onto law

Nancy Pelosi is doing the correct thing getting the House back to work next Monday to get the infrastructure bills from the Senate passed through the House. As our nation is crumbling before our eyes there is no time to waste on traditional vacation periods. The rest of America for the most part doesn't even know or remember the last time we were able to take a vacation. Be that as it may be however the gist of this blog post is the urgency of passing the desperately needed hard and human infrastructure legislation. The best of who we are as Americans is being devoured by the worst of who we are as Americans and that trend must be reversed.
It all begins with these infrastructure bills. They expand educational opportunities for those who are least able to afford it. Yet more importantly the educational opportunities help combat the growing trend of ignorance that is being manipulated to our own destruction by those republicans and power brokers who see America as theirs and not advantageous to democratic ideals. The infrastructure bills also give many millions of women and men and opportunity to return to the workforce where they can apply their skills where needed instead of languishing at home caring for children out of necessity. Not that caring for children is a bad thing but it alone stifles the creative mind in other areas where many could be more productive within their own lives.
To reverse the trend of dumbing down our society we need to lift it up with intellectual growth opportunities that these infrastructure bills offer. Getting people busy within our society helping it grow and mature is amenable to not doing that and leaving people stagnant and susceptible to society destroying lies and misinformation. Opportunity involves people in ways that are positive whereas no opportunity leaves people frustrated and open to otherwise negative programming. Getting the House back to work as quickly as possible to pass these infrastructure bills is critical to beginning our path forward out of this trumpian paradigm of nastiness, upheaval, and chaos.
