(#4592) Democrats cleaning up republican messes!

Ever since I could remember, we democrats have had to clean up republican messes here at home and in the rest of the world. I can list hundreds of things that we democrats have had to do to right the wrongs of republican policies but the most urgent at the moment is voting protection. Of course climate change initiatives are being introduced to reduce the effect of dirty energy which republicans have protected like it is their duty to destroy our planet. But the most current event is the withdrawal from Afghanistan. There is no easy way to do this since trump had begun the process and made sure that if Biden was elected he would have to abide by this ill prepared event.
Sure Joe Biden could have done things differently but second guessing through arm chair quarterbacking is petty and something republicans are adept at. But overall Joe Biden is doing right by removing us from the endless war that has no real chance of changing anything in the future. Trying to do a regime change like shrub the younger attempted was delusional from the beginning. The best part though is that we are not going to be there officially for the foreseeable future. The Afghani's need to determine their own destiny without our often duplicitous reasons for being there.
Here in our nation though the problem that most needs to be addressed is the constant lying from the right wing that continues to influence vulnerable Americans into life and death decisions based upon fallacies. Our society cannot keep having a dual narrative of truth and lies that are equally allowed to coexist. I have been taught this since I was a child that lying is a punishable offence because it destroys the truth of things. If we don't have the truth of things then we cannot logically function as a modern productive society. Where even indoor plumbing is under attack because it somehow is an attack on privacy. I don't know but the whole idea of allowing lies to filter through our information systems reminds me of a virus that does the same thing to our biological bodies!
