(#5738) 18 days left

Two and a half weeks from now and then the counting begins. There are already 10 million votes cast and compiled awaiting a count on November 5th. There will likely be nearly 150 million votes cast this election with maybe even more given the stakes of what the outcome could portend. Those who possess the right to vote will feel the pressure to vote in this moment unlike any other election. 2020 was a pivotal election and the numbers for the voter turnout were epic. I am not sure we can get that many to replicate the awesomeness of that turnout but with the stakes being what they are I truly am expecting an amazing turnout that could well be higher than 2020.
It is my opinion on this but I expect that the voting electorate will deliver a Harris victory with the highest vote count of any politician in any election ever. It is my gut feeling of which I can only offer anecdotal evidence. Roe being shot down by trump and his acolytes in Congress is one of those anecdotal measurements. Another is his project 2025 that begins to suspend life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for too many of us. The brutal and cruel arrogance of the republican candidate is another piece of evidence that does not bode well for him. We on the other hand have a candidate that is compassionate and intelligent with a heart full of concern for all regardless if they vote for her or not.                                                                                                                   There are 18 days left for our nation's electorate to cast their votes for the person and party most like them. I expect many will vote according to that formula with some others voting for her because they cannot stand him even though they are in his party. The Independents will most likely decide this election and from what I can see or predict is isn't close when looking at Independents and their desires. The differences in the two parties is clear and distinct. The republicans are not nice people who would sacrifice to help others. Whereas we democrats are nice people who believe that helping others who need help is not only a duty to humanity but it is a requirement for those of us with honor and the principled and ethical vision of democratic values.
