      I have noticed the beginning of the nefarious expected shift by nate silver's 538 election polling forecast model to show the race tightening. Not that the race is tightening but as an absurd strategy silver is doing it despite the momentum Kamala Harris is still creating. The reason why is that silver is showing he is bought and paid for by a wealthy republican who will pull the strings of his puppet silver to get trump close enough so that when trump loses, which everyday seems more likely, trump can claim that the race was again stolen from him. For trump it isn't about actually winning, although that is his preferred outcome, it is about appearing to be close to enough to win, then claim fraud, while still losing.
     That is the mental deficiency trump is laboring under. He has to either win or come close enough pre election to make a demented case that the election was fixed against him when he was either tied or leading in the pre election polling. That is where silver is functioning as his backstop. The republican party has been in on this from the beginning so make no mistake, there are no innocent republican candidates running for office. The importance of the republican affiliated polling that has been flooding the 538 algorithm are designed to narrow the Harris lead to a tie or, even better for trump, a slight lead. The independent polling has consistently showed Harris with a 3 to 4 point lead which belies this obviously ridiculous maneuver. However the republicans persist in their illusion.
     There is a solution to this mad numbers game being played by trump and his wealthy republican overlords. It requires the many more of us who are not republicans to vote in numbers too great to falsely narrate. By overwhelmingly voting for every democrat on our ballots we who are not trying to steal the election push past the point of doubt and make any claim by the loser trump to get a serious look at his coming claims of unfairness, moot. A blue tsunami wave election is just what our democracy needs and is very much doable even with only 10 days left until election day. Back to reality, each and every day trump does even more head scratching actions that leave undecided voters with no comparison to Harris who is stalwart and predictable as a viable and commanding option.
