(#6265) About 10 million folks out yesterday protesting against trump

Each time we hold a political rally against trump a new American record for protesting is set. It isn't easy having to spend a day devoted to railing against our criminal president but more and more of us are finding the ability to do so. Let me be clear as well. There is no crossover for support for trump. All of us are in agreement that trump must go! His polling numbers consistently across the board are terrible. His republican party members are resigning from running again in droves. He has majorities in every branch of government but can't pass his bills nor get the courts to approve his decisions. Not even our previous allies will lift a finger to align with trump.
So with all those out there yesterday with signs and words of condemnation for trump the likelihood now of trump cheating to win the midterms is becoming his only avenue to take if he wants to keep his current power. What his last shrinking circle of cohorts are not getting yet is that we the people are the final arbiters of his fate. He can accept his dismal existence and remove himself from our government or he can face the consequences of his bad decision to defy us. What he and his core followers don't get is that we the people will take matters into our own hands if institutional guardrails are inefficient. We have built up our resistance to his heavy handedness and will do our final act if and when needed.
What will be interesting to me is the continuing special elections and how they define our momentum in crushing trump's republican party. On Tuesday March 31, a Massachusetts state house seat will be decided with democrats favored. Then on April 7, a congressional seat in Georgia's 14th district to replace greene, and a Wisconsin supreme court seat will be up for a vote. The seat in Georgia is a very heavily republican district and would be a shocking result if the democrat wins. So if he doesn't win I expect the margin to be much much closer that republicans enjoyed in 2024. As to the Wisconsin supreme court race it will likely be about how big the turnout is and how much of a margin democrats will win this race.
