(#6239) Seriously Americans? donald trump is the hill we are all going to die on?

      I wanted to start this blog post with "is this who we have become", but I know it isn't. However not enough of us yet have hit our red lines yet that we won't cross. Too many of us still are oblivious to what is happening right before our eyes. Whether through disregard or ignorance it doesn't matter the reason. What matters is that we all get to "this is enough!" He is actively covering up his crimes described in the epstein files. He has started a war with Iran that has no sign of an exit strategy or a real purpose for initiating. He is talking about cancelling our midterm elections. Unless you are daft and worship this man who you think cannot do anything wrong then you need to get with the rest of us and plan for a quick end to his democracy destroying agenda!
     Otherwise like the title suggests, is he the one who you want to end our American experiment? Are those of you who are not yet pledged to keeping democracy alive and well really going to ignore the fiasco all around us and give him a by your leave pass? There is no greatness in trump. There isn't even much of any goodness in him. He is an abysmal creature who has visions of grandeur as his hope. Yet he sucks in those who do not know much more than himself. Because what he does have in abundance is a disdain for honorable intent. Which is why he laughs at those who practice courtesy and optimistic values of goodness. He is a ravager and a defiler. That is his essence.
     I have seen his type throughout my whole life and he is nothing exceptional among that perverted ilk. He may have come further along than most but his deceptions are still visible to any and all who would open their eyes. No words out of his mouth can mask his deeds. He is not capable of masterpieces of intellectual insight. His understanding of logic can be summed up as incomprehensible. Yet like all good con artists, he gives people glimpses of reality mixed with his contorted sense of process to achieve it. If playing on fears wasn't enough he also threatens those who are not afraid. A bulldozing bully with little to no conscious to personally restrict him. What he needs is his comeuppance that was denied him when he was still forming his privileged narcissistic act.
