(#6259) This coming election will be a blowout unless trump can cheat!

      By cheat I mean change votes against him into votes for him. If he gets his voter suppression bill passed he can gain millions of votes that way but even that will not secure him losing at least the House. But with some extra manipulation through voting machines he may well survive in the House also. Rigging voting machines is on everyone's minds so it won't be easy to pull off. Especially where the contests are expected to be close. More eyes on things this election just because of the fear of manipulation by republicans and their billionaire fan boys.
     All evidence so far is showing a dramatic return to the democratic party by Latinos who were hopeful trump would help them with their issues like Dreamers. But they soon realized that trump was not interested in their plight just their vote and he manipulated them despicably. Not only are Latinos coming back home to the democratic party but so are young folks who see the violence trump is perpetrating on the weak and defenseless. Protests from schools all around the nation are the tell that the young are riled up at the heavy hand of trump and his lawless ice goon squad. Independents are the key to any election and they are committing themselves to defending democracy by voting against republicans.
     So with all the vested political groups in opposition to republicans by and large the only way republicans can win the midterms is to cheat. Denying citizens the vote on voter identification issues that are clearly a poll tax as defined by previous supreme court verdicts is the big one. Yet this current republican majority supreme court does not hold to the precedents of their former colleagues and through intimidation will be forced by trump to reinvent a new interpretation that undermines the rights and freedoms of we the people. It won't be enough to sway complete control back to trump but with manipulation of actual votes cast in voting machines the fix could well be enough to keep trump in his uncivilized wrecking ball mode!
