There is nothing good coming from republican politics. The only misleading narrative they have is with the economy but that is an illusion. The only ones doing well are the wealthy and their indicators. Meanwhile the greatest percentage of Americans are still being shuffled toward greater poverty. Everything else about society is crumbling, even our democratic leadership around the world. Our nation has become a magnet for those who are selfish and greedy while exhibiting cruel and brutal behavior to everyone in their path. Nothing going forward is of any value to the American electorate that could possibly salvage the republican party in 55 days. Nothing! They are only embroiled in their own bad deeds with their exposure to those coming out daily.
How will republicans appeal to the electorate to vote for them? The only path they have is deception. They will also try to blame democrats for everything republicans have done but that won't work too well since republicans have have had all the power for the last 2 years. What republicans have accomplished is to take away from social services that protect the working middle poor class during times of difficulty. Stripping away workplace protections, allowing Puerto Rico to wallow in the aftermath of a devastatingly deadly storm with little care as a helping hand. The republican party continues to fight against voters rights while demeaning and causing suffering to all who are not them.
From women's rights to define their own lives to the lowering of minimum wages in desperate parts of our nation, the republican ideal for our lives is one of a cavalier indifference bordering on condescension. The republican party is losing our votes in every major category of voter, even their own once solid base. They have allowed themselves to be fooled into thinking they are the masters of the universe and that is not going over well now. On November 6th they will find that they could not defend their positions and their little glass house of arrogance will be shattered into oblivion. The republican party offers us their formula for greed and hatred, and we Americans are wising up to it and refusing to become like them!
