Our new congressional democrats are forcing the narrative (#3628)

What has been very pleasing to me is the force by which our newly elected democratic members are exerting on our national narrative. Besides the many conspiracies and law breaking by the republican party and trumps specifically, the legislative agenda is being outlined with a ferocity by our democratic caucus into the vacuum left by previous republican intransigence. Surely what republicans failed to realize is that the democratic party and it's mounting wave of growth is not in any sense eager for the status quo. Instead we are all in on the idea that things need to change back to we the people and not continue toward we the corporations.
What brought us a booming middle class was the policies of democrats after World War II. Going back to those policies with some efficient upgrades to fit our times is perfectly reasonable and at the heart of our democratic message. Along with aligning our constitutional rights to actually adhere to equality, fairness and justice. We are the party of democrats who are about to put privilege and advantage into the waste bin of history and instead promote merit and hard work as the values most desired from our citizenry. The fresh new voices from our newly elected majority House of Representatives is the culmination of the effort so far and is just beginning to loudly amplify itself beyond all the personal attacks and obfuscations of the republican political machine.
From taxing the wealthy at higher rates to making voting comply with a national standard and all equality points in between, our new democratic house members are the catalyst while our older democratic representatives navigate the process in order to maximize the outcome. Together we are the mightiest democratic party in my lifetime and we are just beginning. The future looks bright regardless of how inept the republicans and trump are now in forcing our nation into untenable situations. It won't be long for them to be flushed down into the sewer where their gambit at power deserves to be and even as I write this their swirling down has already begun.
