(#5034) From Ukraine to the US House races

My attention is on both of these paradigms. The Russian invasion of Ukraine is not going as planned for putin and his forces are being decimated at a clip that surely should see him deposed. More than 81,000 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine as of this morning which is a massive amount of lives lost for no practically no gains. Especially since now Russia is being kicked hard in the ass while turning toward their own original borders for safety. Yet putin keeps sending them into battle where daily deaths of Russians are currently averaging over 500 a day.
A whole generation of young Russian men has been wiped off the face of the Earth for the folly of putin to be an arrogant tyrant. The Russian powers in the kremlin, outside of putin, could depose him but it seems they are just as arrogant as he is. The whole purpose of being a human being is to exist not to be a pawn to be sacrificed without a noble and honorable purpose. That is the criteria for all of us to consider if we are to put our lives in jeopardy. Not the condescending power hungry who care not a whit about their lives. This whole Russian situation in Ukraine sickens me to no end and the sooner the deposing of putin takes place the sooner lives will be saved that deserve breath on our planet!
As to the US House races the votes have been cast and now in California the counting of millions of ballots continues. It isn't just the counting either it is the verification of all the votes that must be painstakingly accomplished. But that process is well under way and in about 10 key races here the winners will go a long way toward deciding the control of the House of Representatives. It is difficult to diagnose the outcome at the moment as both party's seem to have an edge that benefits them. The republicans have some large leads at the moment but then the democrats historically have a large cache of uncounted votes waiting to be added to their totals. When the counting is done we will know who will be the majority in the House.
