(#6417) 68 days until the election results start coming in...

      I know a lot of people are saying that there are only 67 days left until the election but I count today as the 68th. We haven't left today yet so it is still part of my calculation. However we count the number of days left to the election the point being is that it is coming up fast and furious. So yesterday the same judge who placed both injunctions on the trump mail in ballot sabotage, and then subsequently removed here last injunction after the supreme court removed her other injunction  filed a new injunction. All this because the supreme court was worried about timing. Well there is no timing issue now so this latest injunction will now move either to an appellate court or possibly directly to the supreme court for a judgment on the merits, not just the timing of the injunction.
     Either way, through appellate decision or supreme court decision, the result will be known quite soon as there is a matter of an election starting with overseas mail in ballots going out in one week. It just seems absurd to me that the 6 majority trump supporters on the supreme court would break our constitution to help trump possibly steal these midterm elections. All semblance of partiality will be exposed and this supreme court will have lost what little remained of it's credibility. To me that would create a constitutional crisis that would need addressing immediately. When the supreme court as the final arbiter of our democracy cedes that responsibility to the executive branch our constitution is being violated at its core.
     The usual avenue of addressing this problem if it becomes one is through congressional action. However the majority in both houses of congress are also republican so counting on congress to check a real possible imbalance to our constitution is almost moot. With the executive branch controlling the legislative branch and the judicial branch a real danger exists. If it becomes reality then all that is left is we the people to rise up and break our current administration with all our ability. If we don't then the executive branch will have taken our democracy and supplanted it with a tyrannical government that has no voice left for we the people. Just know what is possibly going to happen if the not supreme court does the unthinkable and allows trump to become a dictator through his mail in ballot rule.
