(#6420) 65 days until the election, the absurdity of the trump postal rule

      In 15 days Pennsylvania starts its early voting. Then 19 days until Minnesota and South Dakota start their early voting. After that, 20 days until Vermont and Virginia start their early voting. All this to say that early voting is upon us. How in the world would the republican majority not supreme court justify upsetting our electoral process by doing something unconstitutional? If they side with the trump postal rule all those states who are already primed to mail ballots to their constituents would be thrown into chaos trying to make their postal ballots adhere to the trump USPS rule!
     Not only that clusterfuck to deal with, but the mail in voting rolls will need to be sent to a federal website for their perusal to decide who can vote based upon the accurateness of the newly designed ballot envelopes. Let alone the portal for receiving these lists of mail in voters doesn't currently exist. Talk about the trial and error that goes with any new large paradigm shift of bureaucracy. Talk about uncertainty. We are literally in a pre election period with practically no time to comply. Plus those of us who are on state mail in voting rolls like me will want to decouple from those state rolls if they are forced to go the the currently non existent federal database. How would that work? We don't know because this is all happening on top of a knife's edge.
     Why is trump only trying to secure mail in ballots on a federal list and not those who vote at the booth? He is also exempting overseas ballots as they are mail in also. So this burrowing in on mail in voters is specific to his claim that he was robbed of the 2020 election. Despite there being no proof of that occurring. How the not supreme court could justify this preposterousness of trump so close to our election is beyond fathomable unless one takes the view that the not supreme court republican majority is in collusion with trump and his strategy to disenfranchise voters. I know that there is no justification for this power grab of trump within the constitution so any decision favoring his rule is an abomination to our constitution and will be addressed in a justifiable way!
