(#5890) Apparently too many people prefer being idiots

I get it. In a society like our American one where too many prefer to be lazy privileged assholes why would they want to have any intelligence? It is easier for them to defend others who think for them and copy what they are told to believe? Again, the lazy part of their existence. What they obviously fail to realize is that when others think for you, you become their asset. No longer are your unique characteristics available for you to pursue but they are treated as crimes and decadents that deserve punishment. So if I wanted to be free to determine my own destiny I must first check in to see if that is allowed. Not because it causes some harm but because I am controlled by others who demand to think for me.
My rights as a free person are contingent on me being able to decide my own destiny. If I don't know and don't care to know but still want freedom then I am a fool. Because freedom is not free when others are working hard to take it from you by being the decider of your fate. I have tried to explain this concept of mind control so many different ways and this is just another attempt at that. If you will not learn for yourself what is happening around you in an objective way then you are not going to know what is correct when the time comes for you to decide. If you keep tuning into the voices you follow then your complex life will be theirs to manipulate.
The numbing of our own curiosity is dangerous and against our natures. Being curious is what life is all about. None of us is born with a previous knowledge. We learn everything about life and who we are once we begin to question. So to stop the questioning about life is similar to ending your life while you are still alive. It makes no sense as a human being that is kin to a survival instinct of incredible success. Our species is not one that quits on itself. There are some who cannot face reality and out of billions of us that is not a surprise. But the vast majority of us need to keep living with our curiosity and compassion in high gear to make our own existence worthy of being part of our magnificent human race experience.
