(#5901) With trumps, depravity overrules shame

We are all human beings who face the same type of learning experiences. Many of us learn that our shame decides for us that whatever activity or concept we tried is not worth continuing. We, the many, use a balancing equation within our minds to determine what is allowable in our conduct and what should never be. We instinctively model an equation that includes morality, ethics, common sense, and legal acceptance. We also consider harm to ourselves or others. The many of us correctly conclude that either the behavior is not allowable because it does harm in some fashion or another to our decency and respect.
But there is a significant number of people who choose not to use the same equation. Instead they have decided that no matter the shame of an improper thing they will continue to do it regardless of the shame that is obvious. They have started from a position that does not include the restriction of harming other people. They have started from the position that their own self indulgence in any activity is justified due to some craven concept that they deserve above what others deserve. Common sense, law, morality and ethics are not enough of a deterrence to nullify their lusts and cravings.
Thus we have the trumps who, as a group of people, align with the idea that having a conscience is a negative human trait. They have removed the sensibilities of civilized behavior for one that discounts empathy in order to favor advantageous cruelty. Their ambition is to satisfy themselves at the expense of whomever is vulnerable enough to accommodate them. Once satisfied they are off to their next conquest. The trumps are like a horde of locusts. Feeding off the body of its host until the only thing left is waste. We, as the body, are feeling the beginning of the ravaging of trumps and unfortunately we have much time left to feel more to come. As more people come to the realization that trumps are a plague the hope is that we all together to do enough to create some kind of quarantine in order to ameliorate them.
