(#5898) I just can't believe we Americans will just roll over to an ignorant wannabe tyrant!

      I know I am not alone in this. Every day I open my eyes from the night sleep I immediately check to see if there are any deaths of consequence. You know what I mean. Wannabe and real tyrants is what I mean. There are enough of them out there for at least one every so often to be expected by me anyway. But as has been the case for far too long none of the really awful people in our existence seem not to be at risk. When in all reality every moment they are alive should be a feared one. By not anything happening to them reinforces their belief that we Americans at least are all blather and no action.
     The wannabe tyrants are emboldened to keep taking as long as we don't stop them from taking. All we have to do is stand up to them. They are cowards all so them being confronted with their own fear is how we stop them. Being an honorable person is the only way to live life no matter how much that intrudes on our schedules. We don't teach our children anything by ignoring the best of who we are to enhance many of our worse behaviors. It is time to put our strengths out as a baseline and then operate from a respected position. We don't need conmen to help guide our destinies, we need people of like virtues who understand democracy and its source of tolerance and inclusion.
     When we have democratic leadership in the 3 branches of government our society leaps forward into innovation and creativity. Otherwise we get the tearing down of policies and opportunities from republicans that never fail to disappoint and harm. I will always be a progressive liberal that is well situated in the democratic party. I am also cautious about moving forward too quickly as everything is in a complex intertwining. That said, tyranny brings about difficulty and harm while democracy brings about hope and opportunity. We did this wannabe tyrant act on ourselves and once again we see the failure. Now is the time to end the experiment and return to our roots within democratic principles and the pursuit of happiness for all, not just some.
