(#5896) Everyone born is scared

There is absolutely no difference between any human being on this subject. Even the emotionally stunted understand fear even if they don't sense it the same way the rest of us do. It is because fear derives from the survival instinct and we all have that as a species. We could have a discussion about fear and if it exists in a world where no survival instinct is required but that will be for another time. What we have in reality is the necessity for the survival instinct at this stage of our evolution. So if you are wondering how people can show courage when in the grips of fear it is because we human beings are capable of overcoming that which would stop us.
This right here is why I label us as an amazing species. We adapt to push beyond our limits and evolve into a greater being than before. No longer do we cower in our fear if we so choose not to. It is a choice! Not a physical or hereditary limiting. Even now I know fear in what I do but I do not allow that fear to be the controller of what I do beyond it. In fact my fear over time has lessened in its grip so that it is only just more a caution instead of a total freezing. Sure, I have much more growth to accomplish in subsiding my fears but at least I have found a solution to them that works for me.
So allow yourself the opportunity to overcome fear. Do not be stifled by it when it does pop its effect up in your life. Instead use the fear as a gauge to measure not what your response will be but by what degree that response takes shape. Wisdom is always key when moving beyond a plateau in life where we have had difficulties. Small steps are best when big steps are unachievable. The key here is to demand from yourself the control over yourself that is yours. Do not let the scary apparitions of the past control what you do in the future. Remember always, that life is a risk no matter how deep we bury ourselves into a safe harbor. Live life as a badge of courage by the time you close your eyes for the final time.
