The republican party does not want to negotiate (#4380)

If you do not get this yet then you have some work to do. The all out war that republicans are fighting to keep power has no interest in collaborating with their enemy. I get that Joe Biden is looking for unity and he likely will find it with republicans who are becoming aware of their party's true intentions. However, those republicans in power do not want to do anything that helps the American working middle poor class because that would help democratic politicians. Right now republicans in control of state legislatures and governorships are readying bills to turn into law that will obstruct voting.
That is the republican party I have known my entire life and they are not going to stop being themselves when they do not want anything good for all of us. Their only hope to keep power and retain it is to cheat Americans out of their voting rights. President Joe Biden is trying to get a more inclusive American society but the only way we are going to get there is to force republicans to the sidelines on creating and passing laws that reflect our democratic party platform. The republican party is not going to sign onto anything that doesn't hurt and harm the democratic party. Nothing new here since they have been doing just that for decades upon decades.
We, the American electorate gave our national democratic leaders the majority in all legislative matters. Now it is up to them to fulfill our destiny and use every bit of our advantage to finally correct the wrongs in our society. Trying to bring republicans along is noble but a fool's errand in this moment of time. We democrats have our edge to get what the American people need and waiting to see if republicans will join us is not productive and actually hurts our cause. There are a handful of republicans who will prove themselves worthy but not enough to even put a dent in the opposition by the rest of them. Let us democrats go forward and focus on the future, not on some illogical attempt to placate the opposition, to a better life for all of us.
