The Earth is our home and as such needs our care and nurture. Now I know that our human industrial revolution and unfettered capitalism has changed the dynamic from our previous logical understanding of what care and nurture mean to one where gambling our future away is now seen as necessary. However one wants to pretzel the logic, it remains a threat to our planetary habitat. Wealth acquisition has superseded intelligent design to the point of being a threat to all species on this planet. Where is the line that cannot be crossed when it comes to us committing planetary suicide? It appears with the republican party in control there will not be a line that can be readily implemented.
So here we are as Americans giving the evidence of America now being the only nation on the planet that is now not a signatory to the Paris Peace accord. Yes, once the greatest democracy on our planet and we are now under republican rule, the only non signatory to the Paris Peace Accord. I had to type that twice just so I could grasp the alternative universe concept of it. The trumps of the republican clan now are pushing for more dirty energy to be produced over any further advancement of clean energy. There can be only one reason for this as the old wealth in America still holds the reins of dirty energy as their profit base. So it is for greed that dirty energy is being restored as the main catalyst for energy consumption.
Logic dictates that to have any hope for our environment being restored to a species nurturing one we must cut the head of the snake off that is corrupting our survival. That means that the republican party has to be severed from our politics here in America so that we can reverse the trumps push to annihilate us later for a big payday now. We have that ability to accomplish just that given our democracy is, though downgraded, still functional enough to change the political dynamic with the coming elections in 2018 and 2020. It will take all that we have to make it so but it will be done if we remember that our planet Earth is our only home. Our only home is not for sale to the highest bidding capitalists and never should be!
