18 days left until the election (#4276)

Last night I only watched the Joe Biden town hall. I know what trump is like and I know he doesn't care about you and I. Furthermore, I cannot stand seeing his face and especially cannot stand hearing his voice. So instead of wasting my time being uninformed and building even more vitriol toward him I went the other route and listened to Joe explain and discuss his ideas for our futures. Sure like all candidates who are condensed for time he fudged, and embellished a bit and also omitted some, but in those instances the core of his message remained the same. Health care improvements, race relations and policing improvements, growing the economy with efficient and smart technology, and most importantly defending our constitution and it's giving of rights to all.
I was indeed pleased to hear Joe speak with passion and urgency. His care for all of us is beyond dispute by now and for that we must vote for him for doing so. The past 4 years have taught us that without compassion as a baseline in the executive branch the will of our people will be subverted. Despite the reasons, no excuse can be offered, that disrespects the citizenry and it's dreams as valid. In 18 days it will become official that Joe and Kamala Harris will be our next president/vice president elects and that will be a monumental moment in the history of our nation. Pulling back from the brink of democracy being destroyed to instead reinforce our democracy beyond any such attempts again.
It is always good for our nation when our leaders address us for their own guidance. Instead of like trump telling us what we should be doing. No one is that smart and if there ever was one that smart we wouldn't need to think at all. Well I cannot imagine a life without thought so let us just put that one down as absolutely impossible. Instead then we need leaders who not only trust their own moral and ethical principles that are not only consistent with our constitution but consistent with the spirit of our constitution. Our constitution is an evolving document that has a strong, albeit imperfect, foundation beneath it and openness to change above that allows for the evolution of our species into the unknown.
