The republican party is trying to make treason reasonable! (#3458)

The die has been cast. There is little to no doubt that the russians hacked our election in 2016 and will again in 2018 and the republican party doesn't care. They are the ones benefiting from it so they are welcoming the chance to gain power while being the minority party. I said that correctly. The republican party has thrown out our fair and just system of voting in favor of cheating to win. Now this is not a surprise to those of us who have been screaming our heads off to warn of this behavior by republicans but to those who are republican voters it doesn't rise to the level of their disgust with their own republican party. Instead they shrug it off and vote for republicans anyway.
As long as their republican party is in control the republican voters are showing that they will allow their party to do most anything in order to maintain control. That now includes their republican party committing treason. Still a vast majority of republican voters hold that even if Russia hacked our elections in 2016 they would still vote republican. They want what they want even though the majority of us don't. The mindset of the republican voter is one of control and that will not change given the means to maintain that control. So there is no reason to assume that proof and trials of republicans colluding with Russia will change the voting pattern of the republican party members.
We cannot shock the republican party into changing it's voting desires. We cannot believe that shaming them and calling them out will do anything to stop their madness in voting for traitors. What we the rest of us must do is vote like every non republican on the ballot is our true ally and give the republican party no votes at any position on the ballot. We who are patriots of American democracy must find our courage and defend our nation against the cowardly power ambitious republican party. The republican party is no longer a political option, they are instead the means by which our democracy may be destroyed from within.
