Shattering the myth of our comfortable perceptions (#3322)

No, we don't live in the land of milk and honey, although we could be. No, America isn't all apple pie and baseball, but it could be. All the little sayings that perpetuate a view that America is some various form of perfection is nonsense and not only that deliberately propagandized. Too many Americans are struggling mightily just to survive, http://money.cnn.com/2016/06/10/news/economy/americans-struggling-financially/index.html. Yet many wealthy and their republican lackeys are persistent to keep the myth alive that America is greater than it actually is. It is republican policies that make for our societal downfall but they do not broadcast it that way instead they point fingers at "others" and say that things would be greater if the "others" weren't such a problem.
The truth of things are clear if you consider that the wealthy gain the most from socialism in our economy, through tax breaks and subsidies while the middle working poor are vilified for accepting any help of a social nature. The wealthy greedy blaming the "others" for wanting more than a life of barely surviving while the wealthy are more rich and powerful because of all the social advantages they are offered, http://www.newsweek.com/robert-reich-why-socialism-rich-capitalism-poor-455066. Meanwhile we those many in the working middle poor class are bombarded with republican sponsored narratives that promote false negatives against each other. The republican backing wealthy have an agenda and it is to neuter the working middle poor class and make us subservient to them. How do you like that apple pie and baseball now?
Until republicans are gone from our government we will never see the end of the lying and cheating that republicans do to keep their narrative going. Most Americans cannot fathom that republican political leaders would outright lie to us but when you do your research and pay attention you find like I do that lying is all they can do based upon the policies they keep enacting to harm the working middle poor class. So turning us against each other is their only course of action to keep us from seeing their true nature of wannabe dictators and haters of "others". The trumps were not a mistake to them as you see most republicans back the trumps regardless of the pain and suffering the trumps inflict on us Americans. So the next time you hear about how great America is just remember that it is only the wealthy who are enjoying their milk and honey while the rest of us are struggling with our crusty bread and tainted water.
