The acceptance of trump's illegal acts (#4001)

Already the trump by default doctrine of doing anything to get elected is infiltrating our American politics. The first republican in my era to play dirty with illegality was the republican nixon. He worked behind the scenes of his presidential run to thwart the Johnson peace initiative with North Vietnam so that he could use the continuing war as a campaign strategy to his eventual successful election, https://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/31/opinion/sunday/nixons-vietnam-treachery.html. Killing off our youth so that he could be president is as bad as it gets and now trump is trying the same tactics with the obvious assassination of the Iranian general.
Trying to start a conflict with Iran is the impetus of putting our troops on the ground to be slaughtered for the political gain trump will get from it. He and his acolytes have made the calculation that a war footing is better strategically for the trump reappointment narrative. Like nixon, the betterment of our nation is not the purpose, having power to enrich themselves at the expense of the American people is. The problem here is that we the American electorate are the ones who are allowing this outcome of trump's presidency to become normal. We are not all out in the streets clamoring for his head because we are somehow numb or profiting from it.
As we may be thinking that we are against trump we are not showing it in action. We like those whose words are as of chafe are no different. It isn't enough to gasp and say that trump is wrong, we need to make him stop with an overwhelming force of protest that cannot be ignored nor changed in narration. As time keeps going by and trump is still around to make the Earth tremble with trepidation, we Americans are digging further down our own graves. We are the worst of what it is to be a free and equal society. Soon that won't be the case either since we are about to lose our freedom and our equality because we could not muster the will needed to act to defend it.
